Major KCSD construction projects recently completed or underway:

Blaney Elementary School - This project included renovation of the entire building, a new fire lane, total replacement of the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system, a new kitchen hood, a new roof, a new front canopy and a new bus canopy.  [Project photos.]

Camden High School - This project includes a new auditorium, a new auxiliary gymnasium, renovation of existing locker rooms, kitchen replacement, dining area upgrades, a new student parking lot, new practice fields, a new track, two concession/restroom buildings to serve outdoor athletic facilities and related site work. (The CHS springs sports complex should be completed by mid-August, 2009).  [Project photos.]

Camden Middle School - This project encompasses the construction of a 148,000 square foot middle school to accommodate 900 students. The planned completion date is April, 2009.  [Project photos.]

Jackson School - This project encompasses the construction of a 81,211 square foot elementary school to accommodate 550 students. The planned completion date is July 2010. [Plans for the new facility.]

Lugoff-Elgin High School - This project included a new auxiliary gymnasium, renovation of existing locker rooms, new concession building, new ticket booths, 2 new practice fields, a new track, 6 new tennis courts and related site work.  [Project photos.]

Lugoff-Elgin Middle School - This project resulted in the construction of a 133,000 square foot middle school to accommodate 750 students.  [Project photos.]

Midway Elementary School - This project included the demolition of the old gym, addition of a multi-purpose building that includes art and music rooms, renovation of the existing building, replacement of existing exterior canopies, a new kitchen hood, HVAC replacement and related site work.  [Project photos.]

North Central High School - This project included a new auditorium, a new main gymnasium, renovation of existing locker rooms, a new student parking lot, a new practice field, new tennis courts, new football stadium parking, a new field house and related site work.  [Project photos.]
