Mt. Pisgah is a rural area with farms, forests, churches, private homes, mobile home parks, a rescue squad/fire station, and a few gas stations. Most residents work outside of the area since there are no factories or businesses.

• Driving directions from I-20 are:
  Take exit 98 (Camden/Sumter 521 exit.)  At the stop sign, turn towards Camden on Hwy. 521 North.  Go about 10 miles to Lockhart Rd., and turn right. Continue about 15 miles, pass North Central High School on the right.  Turn right at the intersection of Lockhart Rd. and Hwy 341.  Take the first left (large ground water tank on the left) and continue about 4 miles.  School is on the right.
   
• Driving directions from the District Office are:
  Turn right on Roberts St.  Turn right on Hwy 1 South.  Turn right on Broad St. (Hwy 521).  Go about 8 miles to Lockhart Rd., and turn right. Continue about 15 miles, pass North Central High School on the right.  Turn right at the intersection of Lockhart Rd. and Hwy 341.  Take the first left (large ground water tank on the left) and continue about 4 miles.  School is on the right.
